Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and guidelines for the use of Falix (herein “we”, “us”, “our”)’s hosting services, including Minecraft Server Hosting and VPS Hosting. By using our services, customers agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in suspension or termination of services.
Prohibited Uses
Customers may not use our hosting services for any of the following purposes:

Illegal Activities
- Engaging in any illegal activities or promoting illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, drug trafficking, and unauthorized access to computer networks.
- Hosting, distributing, or transmitting any material that violates any applicable law or regulation.
Harmful Activities
- Distributing malware, viruses, or any other malicious software intended to harm or disrupt the operation of other systems.
- Conducting or promoting any form of network attacks, including but not limited to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, and hacking.
Intellectual Property Infringement
- Hosting, sharing, or distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization from the copyright owner.
- Violating intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and proprietary information.
Unsolicited Communications
- Sending or facilitating the sending of unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or other forms of unsolicited communications.
- Engaging in any activity that results in the blacklisting of our IP addresses.
Resource Abuse
- Excessively consuming system resources, including CPU, memory, disk space, and network bandwidth, in a manner that negatively impacts other customers.
- Running any processes or services that significantly degrade the performance or security of our infrastructure.
- Using our services as data storage. We are actively removing data which are not associated with essential functions of the server. We recommend using our inbuilt backups.
Minecraft-Specific Policies

Compliance with Mojang’s EULA
- Customers must comply with Mojang’s End User License Agreement (EULA) for Minecraft, which can be found at Mojang’s EULA. Violation of the EULA will result in immediate suspension or termination of services.
- Customers must not use our hosting services to facilitate or promote any activity that violates Mojang’s EULA.
Prohibited Minecraft Content
- Distributing any content that infringes on Mojang’s intellectual property rights or violates Minecraft’s community guidelines.
Server Modifications
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that any modifications (mods) or plugins installed on their Minecraft servers do not compromise the security or stability of the server.
- Mods or plugins that excessively consume server resources or negatively impact the performance of the hosting environment may be subject to removal.
Security
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of their own systems, including:
- Using strong passwords and regularly updating them.
- Applying security patches and updates to software and applications.
- Protecting their accounts and systems from unauthorized access.
Content Restrictions
Customers must ensure that the content they host does not:
- Contain or promote hate speech, violence, discrimination, or harassment.
- Include any material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, or invasive of privacy.
- Violate any laws or regulations regarding child exploitation or pornography.
Fair Use
While we do not impose specific limits to but not limited to bandwidth or disk space, we expect customers to use our services in a manner consistent with normal usage patterns. Activities that result in excessive resource consumption or degradation of service for other customers may result in restrictions or additional charges.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to us at [email protected]. Provide as much detail as possible to assist us in investigating and resolving the issue.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to take any appropriate action to enforce this AUP, including but not limited to:
- Issuing warnings to customers.
- Suspending or terminating customer accounts.
- Blocking access to offending content or services.
- Cooperating with law enforcement authorities in investigations of suspected illegal activities.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Customers are responsible for regularly reviewing this AUP to ensure compliance.
Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
